SUMMARY
This position is responsible for maintaining warehouse inventory records for incoming and outgoing shipments, processing customer orders, coordinating all paperwork for billing, creating and mailing customer invoices. Employees must be flexible in their work schedules and have the ability to operate effectively as a team and the ability to work well with superiors, colleagues, subordinates and customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Ability to navigate and utilize Microsoft software.
- Check e-mails or faxes for orders.
- Enters information into computer or computes amounts due.
- Prepares invoices, listing amounts due and dates of shipments.
- Computes amounts for shipping, storage, and demurrage charges, using a calculator or price list.
- Prepares bill of lading and lists weight and lot number or PO number of items. Prepare shipping labels.
- Prepares credit memorandums for incorrectly billed customers.
- Posts transactions to accounting records such as worksheets or computer files.
- Verifies and keep inventory records on incoming and outgoing shipments. Prepare items for shipment and matching paperwork for billing.
- Confers and corresponds with customer representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, and nonconformance to specifications.
- Contacts carrier representative to make arrangements and to issue instructions for shipping and delivery of materials. Prepares labels and bill-of-ladings for shipments.
- Determines shipping method for materials, using knowledge of shipping procures, reroutes, and rates.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma
- Ability to read shipping documents
- Valid driver’s license a must (will also drive forklifts)
- Good leadership skills
- Excellent attendance and good work history
WORK HOURS/SHIFTS AVAILABLE
- Monday thru Thursday 4:00pm – 2:00am / 4 – 10 hour days
- Friday/Saturday/Sunday 6:00am – 6:00pm / 3 – 12 hour days

- $20 per hour to start with potential to be at $22.50 after one year
