In just one month, the Clinton Municipal Airport will transform into a high-energy aviation stage as Fly Iowa 2025 takes flight on Saturday, September 13, 2025, starting at 3:00 PM and soaring through to a spectacular night show.

This free community air show marks the 80th anniversary of the Clinton Municipal Airport and brings with it a jam-packed lineup of thrilling aerial performances, immersive ground experiences, and family-friendly fun. Local organizers, businesses, and aviation enthusiasts have come together to bring Eastern Iowa one of the most dynamic air events the region has ever seen.

“We’ve got legendary planes, world-class performers, fireworks, pyrotechnics and a drone light show—everything you could want in an air show,” said Marlana Nass, Airport Manager. “We’re inviting everyone to come out, bring the kids, and experience the magic of flight at this free airshow.”

Event Highlights Include:

• Vietnam-era themed sky theatrics with simulated bomb runs and pyro explosions
• Aerobatic stunts by headliners including Eric Edgren, Mike Vaknin, and Susan Dacy & TheTrojan Phlyers,
• Flyovers and demos by Randy Ball with the MiG-17, Bird Dog, Skyraider, T28, Huey, and more
• Pay-to-ride helicopter flights
• Drone light show and fireworks finale to light up the night
• Kid activities, local food trucks, and VIP tent access for premium viewing

This event is made possible by the support of Clinton-area businesses, volunteers, and community sponsors. Fundraising is still ongoing to deliver the best possible experience, and local support continues to play a vital role.

“It’s been over a decade since Fly Iowa came to our region. This amazing free event will draw thousands. There is plenty of parking at the airport. There will be a whole lineup of food vendors and activities in addition to the jampacked airshow.
