Ryan Melton Earns Certificate from the Graduate School of Banking

Ryan Melton, Senior Vice President of Information Technology (IT) and Operations at Citizens First Bank, was awarded a certificate of completion from the respected Bank Technology Security School, presented by the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
 
The Bank Technology Security School provides the foundation for Information Technology professionals to connect important issues in IT security with a bottom-line understanding of the business of banking.
 
Designed specifically for financial services cybersecurity professionals, this program helps to expand knowledge of the banking industry and technology security processes and to establish a network of colleagues with whom to interact and exchange ideas. The Bank Technology Security School provides an opportunity for students to learn from respected industry experts about today’s key issues in information assurance and data protection.
 
Melton commented, “Bank Technology Security is always evolving, so it’s important to stay current and knowledgeable on the topic.  The material was relevant and will benefit CFB in many ways.  I enjoyed the course at GSB and built valuable relationships with industry experts and my fellow classmates.”   
 
Ryan Melton started at Citizens First Bank in August 2022, building on a 15-year career in banking and joined the bank’s Senior Management Team in 2023.   Ryan is a graduate of Western Illinois University.
