Resthave Care & Rehabilitation held its annual Ice Cream Social on June 11, bringing together community members, residents, families and staff for an evening of fellowship, entertainment and food.
Guests were served a meal of pulled pork, hot dogs, chips and baked beans, along with homemade desserts and ice cream. Entertainment for the evening was provided by Jeff Kagay.
 
Despite stormy weather, the event drew a strong and enthusiastic crowd, highlighting the continued support of the community. “Whether it’s good weather or bad, our community continues to show up for us, and we are incredibly grateful,” a Resthave representative said.
 
Special thanks to volunteers who made the event possible, including Mr. Bartoz, Lucas from MHS Key Club, the Auxiliary, dessert makers, servers and staff.
 
“Events like this remind us how fortunate we are to be supported by such a caring community,” the organization said.
