To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the windmill in Fulton, Illinois, the Volunteer Millers of De Immigrant Windmill will host a program by Bob Newton about the history of the tourist attraction on Thursday, May 29 at 6:00.Fulton’s De Immigrant windmill was built and assembled in the Netherlands. It was taken apart, shipped to the United States in pieces, and then the Dutch millwrights came to Fulton to reassemble the structure. It was officially dedicated at Dutch Days in 2000. Clinton Community College, located at 1000 Lincoln Blvd in Clinton, is one of the Eastern Iowa Community Colleges.
