Clinton County Candidate Forum 2026

Please reserve your calendars, Wednesday October 7, from 6pm-8pm at Clinton's City Hall. Grow Clinton County, the partnership between Grow Clinton and DeWitt Chamber and Development Company, will host a candidate forum.

There will be roughly 20-25 minutes per forum per race. You will not know the questions or topics beforehand. The setup is in a contested race, there will be 2 minute introductions. Then we will ask a serious of questions as time allows. Each answer will be up to 2 minutes.

If you are running unopposed, you can either offer a written statement to be read or read it in person.

We thank you for running for the public office. It is a huge time commitment, and our civic society relies on people like yourself.

Most likely the schedule will be as follows to help plan your time in case you have a packed schedule. It's a busy time of year! We ask each race to stay in the lobby to ensure no unfair advantage as questions will be similar.
