Resthave Care & Rehabilitation, located at 408 Maple Ave., held its annual Celebration of Life Memorial Service on January 23, 2025, at 2:00 PM. The service was conducted by Morrison's Ministerial Council, with pastors J.T. Bean, Jon Eastlick, Steve Harmon, Ken Renkes, Luke Schouten, Mike Selburg, and Craig Sipes in attendance. These officiants did a wonderful job, paying reverence to the residents who passed away in 2024.

The pianist, Pat Cassens, beautifully played "How Great Thou Art," "In the Garden," and "Amazing Grace." Each family received an angel ornament and a laminated poem by Orville Goodenough, a Resthave resident who passed in 2024. The touching poem, titled "The Old Farmer's Epitaph," was read by Resthave's Social Service Director, Chris Burks.

The service also included a special prayer for Resthave residents and staff, led by Pastor Jon. Pastor Steve read the names of each resident who passed, followed by a moment of silent prayer. The ceremony concluded with a social hour and refreshments.
