Today is a very special day as we come together to recognize one of our truly exceptional team members with our very first Annual Shooting Star Award. This award is given to someone who shines brightly in their role, uplifts those around them, and makes a lasting difference through their dedication and heart. This year, it is an absolute honor to present this award to Stephanie Phillips from our Dietary Department.
Stephanie, you are the definition of a “shooting star.” Every day, you come to work not just to do a job—but to make a difference. In a setting like ours, food is so much more than a meal. It’s comfort. It’s connection. It’s dignity. And Stephanie, the care and pride you put into your work shows in everything you do.
Whether it’s ensuring meals are prepared with accuracy and attention to individual needs, offering a smile or kind word to a resident, or stepping up to help a coworker without being asked, Stephanie consistently goes above and beyond. She understands that her role directly impacts the health, happiness, and quality of life of those we serve—and she treats that responsibility with respect and compassion every single day.
