Grow Clinton Recognizes Borgeson for Workforce Development Achievement

We are excited to announce that Stacy Borgeson, Director of Workforce Development & Talent Attraction at Grow Clinton, has successfully completed the Certificate in Workforce Development Fundamentals program, offered through a partnership between the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE) Foundation and the International Economic Development Council (IEDC). As a member of the second cohort, Stacy has demonstrated a strong commitment to advancing her skills and promoting inclusive workforce development practices.

This rigorous program provided a deep dive into the intersection of economic and workforce development. Over six weeks, Stacy engaged in expert-led sessions, interactive exercises, and a comprehensive curriculum, culminating in an online exam. One of just 112 professionals to earn this certificate, Borgeson now joins an esteemed group of workforce development leaders.

"We are proud to celebrate Stacy’s achievement and see her become part of a growing network of professionals dedicated to workforce development," said Andy Sokolovich, President & CEO of Grow Clinton. “We look forward to seeing how her newly acquired skills will create a lasting impact in the community.”

“The Workforce Development Fundamentals courses have been an invaluable experience, equipping me with essential skills and knowledge to thrive in my role. The resources and insights provided from these courses will continue to serve as a valuable tool in my toolbox. I am thankful for the opportunity to participate in professional development such as this,” states Borgeson.
