Grow Clinton Hosts Candidate Forums

Every election cycle, Grow Clinton hosts a candidate forum. This year there are two separate forums. On Monday, October 20, Grow Clinton will host the City of Camanche council candidates and Camanche School District school board candidates in a forum. The forum starts at 6pm and is located at Camanche City Hall, located at 818 7th Avenue. The forum will also be live streamed on the City of Camanche’s YouTube page. “I look forward to these forums every election cycle. I applaud everyone that commits themselves to public service. It is a commitment, and these forums allow candidates to showcase why they have the experience and skills to lead our community,” says Andy Sokolovich, President of Grow Clinton.

Then for the City of Clinton council candidates and Clinton Community School District school board candidates, the forum is on October 30. The forum is at Clinton City Hall, located at 611 3rd Street. The Clinton forum will also be at 6pm. The forum will also be live streamed on the City of Clinton’s YouTube page. “The questions we pose candidates focus on economic development, community development, and quality of life. It is less issue based and more about getting to know how the candidates approach decision making,” said Matt Parbs, VP of Community & Economic Development at Grow Clinton.
