OVERVIEW

The Custodian is responsible for cleaning at multiple locations, both inside and outside as required.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1.       Clean the interior of buildings including floors, carpet, rugs, windows, and walls

2.       Disinfect commonly used items like bathrooms, desks, door handles, office tools, and phones

3.       Maintain outdoor grounds by picking up garbage and keeping walks free of plan debris

4.       Empty trans and recycling bins in office areas

5.       Ordering of cleaning supplies as necessary

6.       Primary shift is second shift, weekends will be scheduled occasionally on an as needed basis.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS  

1. High school diploma or the equivalent and one year of experience in custodial work
2. Resident of the City of Clinton
3. Eligible for employment in the United States
4. Non-user of tobacco products.  Compliant with the Smoke Free Air Act.
5. Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
6. Ability to follow oral and written instructions.

LOCATION

• Clinton, IA

WORK HOURS/SHIFT

• 40 hours per week (3am – 11:30am)

WAGE

• $17.00/Hr. with increase after probationary period
